Can you really come out today?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and we will be honest with you on the phone. In mild weather and shoulder seasons, calling before 2 PM almost always gets a same-day tech. During heat waves the schedule fills up fast and even early-morning calls may roll to the next day. Maintenance plan members go to the front of the line.

Do you guarantee same-day service?

No, and we would not trust any HVAC company that does. The math does not work in July when call volume triples overnight. What we do guarantee: we will tell you honestly on the phone whether today is realistic, and we will get there as fast as the schedule allows.

Do you charge extra for same-day service?

Accepted Answer

No. Same-day calls during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 12 PM) are billed at our standard $110 diagnostic fee plus the cost of any approved repair. After-hours and Sunday calls carry a premium.

What is your weekend availability?

We dispatch Saturday mornings 8 AM to 12 PM at standard rates. Saturday afternoon and Sunday calls are handled as after-hours and carry a premium. Service agreement members get priority for weekend slots.

How can I make sure I get same-day service when I need it?

Sign up for a maintenance plan before the heat hits. The $240 annual agreement puts you ahead of non-members in the dispatch queue, and the two included tune-ups dramatically reduce the chance of an emergency in the first place. It is the single best thing a homeowner can do to protect against breakdowns at the worst possible time.

What if my AC fails on a holiday?

We run a holiday on-call rotation for true emergencies. Holiday calls are after-hours rates. If the situation is not urgent (the home is still livable), waiting until the next business day will save you money.

Should I just call multiple companies?

Accepted Answer

It is your right to call around. But a tech can only be in one place at a time, and if two companies show up you owe two service fees. Pick a company you trust, call early in the day, and let them work.
