Why We Opened a Second Location
Kannapolis is no longer the mill town it was when we founded Davidson Heating & Air in 1984. The North Carolina Research Campus, Atrium Health Ballpark, and the revitalized downtown have brought thousands of new residents, renovated Cannon Mills homes, and new construction across the Royal Oaks, Afton Village, Lake Fisher, and Jackson Park neighborhoods. Concord, Salisbury, and the northern Charlotte suburbs along I-85 have grown alongside.
For years our customers in those communities had to wait 45–75 minutes for a technician to drive down from Lexington. That worked when the volume was modest, it does not work when an AC fails on a 95°F July afternoon. The Kannapolis location on Kannapolis Parkway, just off I-85 near Concord Mills, lets us station service trucks, inventory, and crews where the calls are. Most Kannapolis and Concord service calls now see a technician within 15–30 minutes during business hours.
Same family-owned company. Same factory-trained technicians. Same $240/year service agreement, honest diagnoses, and no commission-based sales pressure. Closer to home for Cabarrus, southern Rowan, and north Mecklenburg County customers.
